What a week. 55 mm of rain Tuesday, Wednesday followed by 43 degrees yesterday and 44 today. A green keepers life is always on call. I’m sure most people are enjoying a nice cold bevvy in the air conditioning. Think of us while you are and thanks to Lewie and Troy for helping me out this afternoon.

The greens staff would like to wish all other staff members and Cumberland members a very merry Christmas. We hope santa is kind to you all.

Thanks to Greystanes High School for the recognition of our participation in the work experience program. The staff get a real buzz being able to help the children of our local community.

The 5th pathway is 80% complete and is looking great. A huge thanks to Ross, Peter and Jimmy for the great work in cutting the tiles and laying, and to Jeff and Trent from the staff who also contributed to the completed works.

Fairways were fertilised early last week and the results are outstanding. All fairways were cut today and look great.
